Hackensack FD Deputy 4, Rescue 1, Ladder 1, & Engine 4 Responding
Hackensack Fire Department Deputy 4, Rescue 1, Ladder 1, and Engine 4 responding to an activated fire alarm at Houston's Restaurant on Hackensack Avenue in the City of Hackensack, New Jersey. Engine 1 and Engine 5 from the Hackensack Fire Department also responded to this call, but are not seen in this video. Deputy 4 reported the alarm was set off due to a problem with the sprinkler system and all units went back into service.

NOO WAAAYYY!!!!! They used the Q!!!! Nanuet is just as bad as Yonkers.
I have a few videos of them using the Q. I think the Q on their 8-EQ was damaged for a while when the bumper was damaged so that's why they weren't using it.
When it comes to traffic they have to blow the horn as loud as they can to alert people

Yes, they already have an 8-1500 so it would be 8-1501 but you are correct. I have noticed some Rockland County departments keep the designation of predecessors for new apparatus even if the number is no longer accurate. As if the system isn't already complicated enough haha.

WEMS. Wtf is Northern Westchester Paramedics?
Westchester EMS is a private company that is contracted to provide paramedic services to a portion of northern Westchester County. Those are the Northern Westchester Paramedics. Theoretically, another company could take over the contract, but they would retain their "45-Medic" designations.
@@LowHudEmergency I thought you wrote it that way to avoid confusion with the AMR county contract.
@@mind_of_ethan Not exactly. I refer to the county contract units as "Westchester County EMS." I call them that instead of "AMR" for the same reason I call the 45-Medics the "Northern Westchester Paramedics" instead of "Westchester EMS." If I were to catch a Westchester EMS ambulance responding to a 911 call, then I would call it "Westchester EMS." I started doing this to keep everything more uniform.
